You will hear this a lot from me. When it comes to organization I am clueless. I need someone to set me down and tell me exactly what to do and what tools to use. This year I knew I needed someone to point me in the right direction. With 3 kids entering school, I needed a system that would work for us. I have a solution that I hope continues to work for us through the years!

We keep our stadium file next to our  kitchen table with the girls homework caddy’s. They each have their own caddy with crayons, pencils, erasers, glue and pencil sharpener. Our stadium file has 3 file folders for Ashley and Isabelle. One is labeled homework, notes and just their name. Kambree and Sydnee both have file folders with their names as well. These will hold important papers for school and other activities. I just need to get them into the habit of putting their notes and homework in their folders. I also put file folders in the stadium file for our bills and pay stubs. No more losing bills for me!

We love the Super Tab file folders in the stadium file. I can write larger on the tabs making it easier for the girls to read the tabs. It fits smoothly in our stadium file as well as a regular filing cabinet. This means that when I am done with my “paid” bills folder, I can add a date to it and file in my filing cabinet. Easy transfer makes it easier to keep track of past paid bills! I designated colors to the girls to make it more fun to get involved with the organization.

I think the stadium file would be even better if it was available in different colors. Then I would be able to have one set up for each of the girls for their art projects. The Super Tab file folders would be nice if they had labels that could be customizable.

I like that when you start feeding the baby, you can add the cover to the handle which makes the handle longer and easier to handle.

It’s hard to talk about cloth diapering on Twitter and not hear the name Rockin’ Green. That’s where I first started hearing the name. I started to wonder what the big deal was. So I decided to give it a try. I ordered my first Rockin’ Green Laundry Detergent from an online retailer. It arrived quickly and I got started. I threw in my CLEAN diapers to rock a soak. Keep in mind these diapers have been washed with little soap, baking soda and vinegar. This was after ONE hour after putting 3 tablespoons of Rockin’ Green in the washer. I let it soak after letting it agitate. Seriously I wanted to puke!

I couldn’t believe my clean diapers were THAT dirty! Note the time stamp. I let the wash run through after taking this picture at 10:22 pm. Then I started a new wash and let it soak. At 11:57 pm, I went to peek. Check this out! I was so excited at how clean the diapers came out.

Rockin’ Green has options for everyone. They have 3 formulas: soft rock, classic rock, and hard rock.

Both the Classic and Hard Rock come in unscented and a variety of scents. My favorite scent has to be the Rage Against the Raspberries. When I remove my diapers from the dryer, there is no lingering scent. I also use the scoop and dryer ball from Rockin’ Green. The scoop makes it easier to measure the detergent. The dryer ball has decreased my drying time in half! I even use it in my towels!

What made you decide to introduce your “secret” to everyone else?

I have cloth diapered two kids, and loved it. I converted a lot of my friends over the past 4 years, and they would almost always come to me complaining about stinkies and wash issues. I hated that I didn’t really have any good advice to give them. I battled with stinkies for almost a year, so I was just as lost as they were in the quest to keep diapers clean and stink free. So once I found a formula that worked for my own stuff, I passed it out to all my friends and it grew from there.

Who came up with the name?

It was a collaboration between my husband and I, just staying up late brainstorming. It was just one of those lightbulb moments I guess, but it’s been really fun sticking with the theme for new products and scents.

What is your favorite thing about busting into the Laundry world like you did? (I mean you came out of nowhere!)

- LOL – it’s been an adventure for sure! I think the coolest thing is just watching it all evolve. We started off with me mixing things in a little pink bucket in my kitchen and writing all the orders down on a sheet of paper and now we have a warehouse full of soap, and employees! It’s wild!

What is the least favorite thing about busting into the Laundry world like you did? -

Hmmm, well we have had our share of growing pains for sure!

I am working on a top-secret project that is going to rock the cloth diaper world, I think…heheh and then we are about to launch the first product in our home care line really soon too!

Do you ever feel like taking a permanent marker and imprinting your number across your child’s forehead? I know the idea has crossed my mind a few times when we are out and about. I don’t go to larger stores often but I swear I hear “If you are the mother of this child, come claim them” about 1 out of 10 trips. Do parents really lose their kids that often? I’ve lost 2 kids in the store. Different times of course!  Both times they were playing “hide from mommy, while mommy goes insane.” It sure would have helped if they would have had my cell phone number scrolled across their forehead.

Safety Tats eliminates the need for the permanent marker! They made a fun and creative  product that both parents and kids can feel comfortable with. This product has The Morris Bunch approval! The girls love how fun they are to apply. It is like a game. As a mom of 5 kids, it is easy to lose one in the shuffle. The little ones like to play hide and go seek while shopping. Most the time they are very well behaved but like all kids, they are far from perfect. So I like to be prepared. Now I can keep Safety Tats in my purse and quickly apply the tattoos when we are out and about. The marker is perfect size for even a small wallet! It would definitely be nice if it had a little ring or clip on it. That way it would be quick to find in your purse. The bright colors make them stand out so when even the little ones can’t say “here call my mommy” someone can find it!

As a Girl Scout leader, I know Safety Tats will be great when we go on our swimming trip this summer! This will mean that I won’t have as much anxiety if one of the girls wanders off. They will also be able to contact me if they need me right away. Another great way  to use them for Girl Scouts is when we need to contact a parent. We could place the parents emergency contact info on the tattoo. This will allow for quick response when an emergency occurs. It also means that if my other leader or I am injured, emergency personnel can easily contact the girls’ parents without searching for numbers!

Safety Tat also has special tattoos for allergies, medical alerts and special needs. What a great way to let people know immediately what is needed.
