Tuesday Tunes: Who I am

One of the biggest challenges women seem to have is being happy in their own skin. We seem to be held back by our own insecurities. Some of those insecurities can be caused by outside relationships. After years of dealing with someone who was always looking for better, I was looking at myself.  Was I not doing enough? What was wrong with me? It took counseling to realize that it wasn’t about me at all. I purposely chose the counselor that we had gone to as a couple. I wanted someone that knew his side of the story. This counselor knew the truth from his own mouth and knew his weaknesses. I let his demons let mine out causing the insecurities. Today? I am happy with who I am. I have found that joy. I will not cower down to anyone again or let their faults determine who I am.
