Is Friday the 13th really bad luck?

This morning started off a bit hectic. That’s what happens when I schedule appointments 50 miles away at 9 in the morning. I got the kids dressed and ready. Brought my two youngest to their dad’s house and sent the other three to school. Things were looking good. Everything was going pretty well. On the way down there, my ex called and asked if it was supposed to be payday. Yes but it wasn’t deposited. That’s when I look at my gas gauge. I had planned on getting gas after my appointments and I had no cash! He said he would find out what was going on.
Stopped at Starbuck’s before counseling and realized I didn’t have my ultrasound orders. Looks like Myles emptied out my purse and that was the one thing that didn’t get put back in. So I rescheduled and headed to counseling. After waiting for 20 minutes and wondering where the counselor was, I checked my appointment card. 9 PM not 9 AM. Shoot! I wouldn’t have scheduled it if I knew it was that late. At this point, I decided I wasn’t even going to attempt grocery shopping because who knows what would go wrong. I got some gas after talking to my ex. Then I ran a red light! I don’t know where my brain was.
I am not superstitious but today has just been my breaking point. I plan on finishing it strong though as we prepare for our annual cookie kickoff. How has your Friday the 13th been?

I am very superstitious person but when Friday the 13th comes, I usually treat it as a normal day. The reason for this is because if I acknowledge my superstitious beliefs I am attracting bad things to happen. So yeah, my Friday the 13th turned out mundane. hehe So how did your fateful Friday end?
Hope the Kickoff was a success!

It actually ended alright.
I didn’t let the day ruin it. I tend to not even think about the Friday the 13th but this day was one of them!
