Preserving Family & Holiday Memories with Yes Video Giveaway

Remember those big old camcorders that weighed about 20 lbs? I used to own one. That meant that I have a bajillion VHS tapes that are crammed full of memories. I went through one recently to only discover that one of my videos is no longer working. I realized just how precious those moments were to me. I have held onto my VHS tapes because I knew that one day I would have the money to transfer them. I thought I would have to pay hundreds of dollars for someone to do this for me. It intimidated me so much that I never really looked into the process. I even struggled with trusting complete strangers with my priceless items.

YesVideo has been in business since 1999 protecting people’s most special moments. They are dedicated to Convenience, Security, Quality, Affordability, and Responsive Support. They know how important and priceless these memories are to us. They want to provide you with a high quality service that you can trust.

I sent three videos to YesVideo. The ordering process was quick and painless. It was a bit time consuming but no longer than I would expect from any similar site. I appreciated that the shipping was easy. I paid for the shipping during the ordering process and printed out the shipping labels. I packaged everything that needed to ship. The UPS driver picked the box up as he was making his regular delivery run. I had my new DVDs, old VHS tapes and pictures back within a few weeks. Everything was treated with a lot of care.

One of my favorite features from YesVideo is the opportunity to share my memories online through their MemorySafe site. On each DVD, you will find your screening code to input into the site. Then you can start sharing for a limited time via Facebook, Twitter or email. One of the codes didn’t work when I got my DVDs but YesVideo took care of the problem. Their customer service was quick and always stayed in contact while troubleshooting the issue. I didn’t notice an option to download the videos that were created. It would be nice to have that option especially when you have videos made from pictures. YesVideo does have a lot of options in addition to VHS tapes and photos.

DISCOUNT & WIN

I am offering you the opportunity to win a $60 Transfer Coupon with YesVideo. You can even use the code TRANSFER15 to save 15% off your order through the rest of 2011. A gift certificate to YesVideo would make a great stocking stuffer or gift for your loved ones. Connect with Yesvideo on Twitter and/or Facebook for more opportunities to stay connected.

I was compensated for my time for this review. Thanks to YesVideo for offering the giveaway too! The thoughts and opinions are my own.
