We have started to buy the kids an ornament to put on the tree. We also started buying a family ornament every year. When the kids get married or move out on their own, they will have their own ornaments to decorate their tree. I collect the family ornaments so that I will have ornaments. I am not into “theme” trees. Every ornament has a special meaning on my tree.
