Trusting in His Plan
Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
I ran into this verse a couple weeks ago when I was on my way to Girl Scout camp with a fellow leader. It was on the front of a journal. It pulled me in like a tidal wave. Every time I set that journal down, I had this urge to pick it up. I left Barnes & Noble with a latte and 2 journals. I presented it to my oldest, Ashley when I got home. It not only touched my heart for myself but for her. I wanted her to know that God has a plan that is magnificent and something we can’t comprehend. His plan will test our faith over and over but it will leave us stronger than ever. We don’t know what lies ahead but God does. He knows what his plan is for us and if we believe in Him and hold onto our Faith, he will give us good.

Ever since that day in the book store, I have prayed about God’s plan for me. I keep coming back to this verse. It is being embedded into my head and my heart. I know that God is trying to tell me that I need to trust in Him and His plan. Stop being afraid and doubting it. So today, I am going forth. I know that I will have my trials and sometimes I will second guess His plan. When those days come, I will read this verse over and pray for forgiveness for those doubts. I don’t know what lies ahead in my future but I know it will have many blessings. I only hope that I can share this with my children so they can continue to trust in Him as well.
