This is Karma. I know. I did it to my own parents. Cut my hair off when I was a toddler. Now all of my daughters have officially done it. But this is the first time I’ve had to hold back tears. You have to understand what it’s been like the last 3 years. Kambree was diagnosed with Alopecia areata when we started noticing chunks of hair missing. Not cut but missing. I was happy to see that her hair had grown a little bit and even though it was really thin, she had SOMETHING. Now? Myles has more hair than his sister.

It’s so short that we can’t even “fix” it with a cute haircut. All we can do is even it out and pray it will grow back faster than it has grown in the past. This is what it looked like just recently. I was able to finally pull it up in tiny little buns. 

and now? We will be covering up with lots of crocheted hats.
