Stoney is definitely the kind of guy that doesn’t think there is a difference in dog food. The cheaper, the better is his motto. Then my sister said she was feeding her dog another kind of dog food. Stoney’s response was, “why not try pedigree?” My jaw had to be picked up off the floor! That’s when I knew we’d be sticking with Pedigree. Apparently a 6 week trial was all we needed to get him to change his mind. The dogs seem to prefer the Pedigree to their previous dog food. They are also a lot more active. They seem happier. I really don’t know if they seem a lot healthier because they were both healthy.

My perceptions of Pedigree have indeed changed as well. I  have seen a change in both of the dogs. I don’t think that a high priced dog food is necessary for a dog’s overall health. Pedigree is a new recommendation of ours at an affordable price. With the different varieties, you are sure to find something made just for your best friend. Our small dogs do a lot better with small bites. After 6 weeks, they eat it a lot easier than larger formulas.
