That is an astronomical amount of plastic bottles. Then I look at how many I use all by myself. I average 3-4 a day because I love my flavored water. I try to re-use my plastic bottles but I end up throwing them away at some point. Now if I consider the amount of plastic bottles I use when I am drinking soda from them, I just want to hide!

This Earth day I have decided to make a pledge. Eliminating plastic bottles from my household. The thought has crossed my mind before but I didn’t want to give up my flavored water. I hooked the PUR One Click Faucet Mount to my own faucet. I had a few difficulties because my faucet isn’t the best. As soon as the husband got home, we got it off and started installing! The PUR system comes with different mounts to guarantee a proper fit to your faucet. As soon as I found the right adapter, I slipped the mount on and was ready to go. It took about 10 minutes. Make sure you run it on cold water for 5 minutes before you start drinking. I know it is hard to wait but it’s worth it! You have the choice to drink pure clean water or add a little flavor. You can get up to 75 glasses of flavored water with one cartridge! The filter lasts up to 3 months. My only issue is that it doesn’t seem to attach to my faucet and stay in one spot. It kind of moves back and forth.
