How long have you been blogging?

3 years

Tell me about your home life? Married, kids or any thing else?

I am a single mama to a 10 year old girl.  I work full time outside the home, as well as quite a few part time jobs in Social Media.  I bought my own home after I graduated  with my Bachelor’s Degree

What is your family’s thoughts on your Social Media Involvement?

They patiently listen, but totally do not understand why I love it!

Do you write for any other sites?

I have three other blogs.  I have one with my daughter, the Mother Daughter Connection, www.motherdaughterconnex.com.  I have one on Single Parent Challenges, http://singlemamachallenges.blogspot.com/. I have a final one that I recently started about networking, JM Consulting, http://jmconsultingservices.blogspot.com/.

What can we expect from your site?

My main one, Single Parent Retreat, I do reviews and giveaways.  With todays economy, free is always appreciated!  I also put parenting information and will be including many more resources for Single Parents.

What would I find in your refrigerator right now?

Oh my.  That’s scary!  lol.  I have leftovers, milk, some fruit and breakfast buns.  I really need to go shopping!

What was the last movie you went to see?

Tangled 3D with my daughter

How do you balance everything?

Sometimes I wonder if I am truly balancing things!  I have been working so much on blogging and doing other jobs to bring in extra funds, that I think I need to starting throwing some more fun things into the schedule!

If Hollywood made a movie about your blog, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?

Ann Hathaway or Ashley Greene

What does it mean to have it all?

Love.  As long as you have the love of your family and friends, nothing else should matter.

What is your ultimate dream?

To be able to work from home so I can be here for my daughter as she grows into her teenage years.

What is your best advice for a New blogger?

Patience.  It is not an overnight success.  Many new bloggers come into this field with stars in their eyes.  You have to be patient as well as persistent in your goals.  One door closes?  Go knock on the next!
