When homeschooling, organization is key. We have to keep track of assignments, writings and other important paperwork. I have to have a system that keeps track of everything in one place.

Smead is already a trusted company in our home. Their products hold up with all the little hands handling them. I organize all of Ashley’s  papers by subject. Each subject has it’s own hanging folder. I prefer the Tuff Hanging Folders with the easy slide tabs. To take it one step further, we use the Super Tab folders to organize each unit. This makes studying for tests easier. I can even make notes on the front of the folder so we know what she struggled with. We want to guarantee she studies for the right things!

The Tuff folders are heavy duty compared to other hanging folders I have tried. That means I don’t have to worry about being fragile. Now that everything is in one place, I can easily find any assignment we may need to look back on or send in. One of my biggest issues with tabbed folders is trying to organize them in a pattern to make it easier to find. I always seem to put one out of order. With the Easy Slide Tabs on the hanging folders, I can just slide the tab over! Although, it would be nice if the tabs were larger like the SuperTab folders!
