Today we had a great doctor appointment. First it was Kambree’s 2 year check up. The spunky toddler of ours weighed in at 22 lbs 8 ozs! She was nervous about the whole thing but she handled everything well. She didn’t cry when they checked her iron, which was 13.5! Talk about GREAT! She did have to get 2 shots which caught her up completely until kindergarten. She cried til they brought out the prize bucket.

She is such a little ball of spunk. So funny and full of life. I absolutely love it.

Myles was also seen. He weighed in at 11 lbs 15 ozs and 24 inches tall! We increased his reflux medication because he started having a harder time. He seems to be doing better with the larger dose. But still spitting up. Now the great news! We missed our appointment to the cardiologist but rescheduled for this week.  But I decided to request our pediatrician to do another echo cardiogram. He agreed! After listening to his heart for a few minutes, he decided that there doesn’t seem to be a murmur! So we canceled the cardiologist and doing the echo cardiogram in a month. He said that if they decide to sedate Myles, we’ll cancel the whole thing until he’s older!

This means that we should be done with specialists! We also talked about his development! He’s slightly behind but still on the scale for a full term baby. So that is phenomenal. The next great news was that we are no longer charting his measurements on a preemie chart! He is right on for babies that were due the same time he was! I can’t believe that this little guy was born 5 weeks early and has overcome such wonderful odds. He continues to amaze us and the doctors!
