I’m so excited about this challenge! If you are a babywearing mama, this is for you! This is not limited to just those parents with the EveryWear carrier. It is available to all babywearing parents to encourage you to get out and about with your babies!

Now that the weather is warming up, I’m looking forward to taking Myles and the rest of the gang outside. I want to hit the local walking path and much more! Thanks to Scandinavian Child, I can easily wear any of the younger three easily during our adventures! When Stoney is with us, I can even have him carry one of the kids while I wear another!

Scandinavian Child would love to encourage you to get out with your babies this spring and summer. To accomplish this, they created the líllébaby I Am EveryWear Challenge. During the month of May, parents will be encouraged to share pictures and stories as well as advice for getting out on IamEveryWear.com. Scandinavian Child also wants to spread the word about the EveryWear Carrier. The progress in the challenge will be tracked on the home page of IamEveryWear.com (which will go live at the end of April.)

In order to recruit parents to join the challenge, SCI Child will be giving away 50 EveryWear Carriers! If you want to give this carrier a try, now is your time! Starting today, anyone that would like to test the EW can email challenge@scichild.com to tell SCI Child why they would like to try the carrier and why they should be selected to receive a complementary carrier.  Requests will be accepted through April 16 and carriers will be mailed out around April 20. This is an excellent opportunity to try out one of these carriers and make up your own mind about them!

The líllébaby I Am EveryWear Challenge

Throughout the 30-Day Challenge, prizes will be given away for activities like:

• Parent(s) and baby in the location the farthest distance from SCI Child’s HQ in Raleigh, NC
• Funny photos or videos taken along the journey
• Unique suggestions for getting out with ease
• Photos at Farmers Markets
• The first person to register in a “goal state.”  (i.e. the first person to register as an EveryWear owner after SCI Child posts an open state on Facebook and Twitter.)

To be eligible for the Grand Prize*, participants in the “I am EveryWear”  contest must do the following:

1. Complete the entry form on IAmEveryWear.com (to go live April 28)
2. Submit two emails or blog posts showing photographs or videos of them out and about with their babies by May 30^th to Challenge@SCIchild.com;

Engage in at least one of the following activities:

• Post to SCI Facebook with stories & pictures of getting out and about with baby
• Tweet (via Twitter) adventures using the hashtag #iameverywear
• Email their mom’s group or tribe of friends “pitching” the advantages for getting out and about with your baby (and share said email with SCI).

*Grand Prize: The Ultimate “On the Go” prize package will include the brand new Micralite Fastfold Superlite stroller and two new líllébaby Diaper Bags – Stockholm and Oslo styles (along with an additional EW Carrier). The grand prize will be announced by June 15, 2010 and awarded by June 30, 2010.
