When I am telling new moms what is on my must have check list when expecting, there are two things that come to mind. A sling to carry your baby and a nursing cover.  As a matter of fact, I will offer one to loan to anyone that would like to try them out first! Babywearing has so many benefits for mom and baby in addition to the convenience! Why listen to a baby cry because they just need to be held while you are doing something? Put them in the sling and you’ll both be happy! A nursing cover allows you to nurse discreetly without covering a baby with a blanket.

I never tried a nursing cover until I had Kambree.  I actually used to be comfortable breastfeeding without covering up. But the older I got the more modest I became. I understood others would have loved to nurse in public but they were also nervous for various reasons. Instead they would either use a blanket that can often be smothering to a baby or they would hide in another room or vehicle. Some moms will even go hide on the toilet in a public restroom to feed her hungry infant. With a nursing cover, you can maintain modesty and nurse your little one in public without fear of flashing anyone. The Balboa Baby nursing cover has a stiff opening which allows you to keep eye contact with the baby while your nursing. I will never leave home without it now! It fits nicely in my diaper bag without taking up much room.

I am a huge sling lover. I have tried the bulky over the shoulder baby holders, Asian Baby Carriers and Pouches as well as others. I love my ABC’s but they can be intimidating and take up a lot of room. Pouches are great but you have to find the right size or you will struggle. With the adjustable sling from Balboa Baby, I was able to easily adjust the sling and carry Kambree in it. She loved it. It’s also perfect for wearing Myles from birth to Toddlerhood! I love the pockets on both sides so no matter what side you carry your little one, you will have the pocket on the outside. It was also very comfortable!

The sling would be more ideal if the tail was slightly longer. I am a smaller build but was unable to put the end of the sling in the safety stopper.
