CLOSED Baby Shower Extravaganza: Halo Sleepsack & Swaddle Giveaway

Your planning for the baby to come home. You have your checklist filled out with all the necessities. Blankets, bibs, onesies, and more! Personally I love walking through the store and feeling the soft, cuddly blankets. When most parents think of blankets, we think of keeping us warm at night. But putting babies in their bed with blankets can be dangerous. Blankets are must haves during the day when your child is awake and can be watched a little closer. A wearable blanket can replace loose bedding in baby’s bed.

Halo Innovations Inc. was founded by Bill Schmid and is dedicated to creating a healthier and safer sleep environment. After losing his daughter to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in 1991, Bill began sleep environment research. In 1994, Halo Innovations has worked to develop products to encourage a safer sleep environment. Halo Innovations donates a percentage of their profits to First Candle/SIDS Alliance and the Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths to fund ongoing SIDS research, education and family support. Halo Innovations offer a variety of products to give you a peace of mind while you and baby are sleeping.

I have been a fan of Halo SleepSacks since my third daughter. After losing my own daughter to SIDS, I wanted to reduce the risk of SIDS and get rid of the blankets in the crib and bassinet. I used to use the blanket sleepers and I hated them. They were thick and soft but middle of the night changes always ended in disaster. It never failed, I would zip of their chin at least twice a week. With the Halo SleepSack and Swaddle, the zipper is upside down. So no zipping up the chin. The SleepSack Swaddle plush is incredibly soft! The Swaddle can be removed to be used as a baby sleep sack when your baby is not interested in the swaddling any longer. The velcro loops that secure the swaddle to the sack are soft and don’t irritate baby’s skin. I love that the swaddle can be adjusted for arms in or out depending on baby’s preference. The Swaddle even includes directions INSIDE the swaddle!
I would love to see the Halo products become tagless. Tags can irritate baby’s skin and tagless are a great alternative.
One lucky winner will receive a Mocha SleepSack Swaddle and SleepSack.
Visit Halo Innovations and tell me one of their sleep tips!
