This week, I went to Vegas baby! I was there with my sister and her friend. It was meant for her bachelorette party. It was a lot of fun. Of course we didn’t get to do everything we wanted to do because it poured on us the first night. But it wasn’t an uneventful trip! Let’s start from the beginning.

WALMART & Wipers

We stopped at Walmart because silly me has forgotten to get new wipers every time we are around Walmart. So the three of us girls looked into the books to find the right size. Bingo! Found it. Next step attaching them. No problem right! WRONG. Neither my sister or I could get the old ones off. Not to worry though we had two guys come to the rescue. Yep the guys looked just like this other than they had a little more meat on their bones. They got the old wipers off than proceeded to tell me that we bought the wrong ones! What?? So off to Napa we go. We were lucky to know someone that worked there. He’d be able to help right? YES! Well turns out the nerds didn’t know what they were talking about. The adapters were inside the package to make them fit. WOOHOOO! So moral of the story: Get your wipers from someone that knows what the hell they are doing.

Freeway Flirtations

The last place you expect to have someone flirt with you is on the freeway right? Well these morons thought it would be cool to sped up and slow down. Back and forth. Honestly it is one of my biggest pet peeves on the road! Then our friend T says “Hey they put their number up in the window.” SERIOUSLY?? Okay they asked for it. Who could blame us for what happened next. We wrote their plate numbers down (just in case). Then we called good ole dad. The text messages went something like this:

“Hey studs”  “you girls were hot”  “thanks we are on a Tran conference” NO RESPONSE. Then my dad explained to them that they need to leave us alone or we’d be turning in all their info over to the cops. OOPS. Yeah they didn’t like that! Darn!

Pizza for Hire

After a trip to the mall we decided we were hungry. So back to the room and we ordered a pizza. While we waited, someone attempted to get in our room. Hopefully it was just a mistake on room numbers and they are dyslexic. Then we get a call from the delivery guy.

“I’m a couple minutes away and I need you to meet me in the valet lot. But don’t go there yet. I will call you when I get there and then you can look for me in a lawyer van.” A lawyer what?? Seriously? “If you need me you can call my cell phone but I will call you when I get there.” Okay this guy didn’t even give me his cell number and why would I need to call him? When he finally got there, he pulled up in a Honda Element. We really wanted to get him a picture of a van and give him a lesson. That is NOT a van!

So of course that’s not even all of what happened while we were there! It was a lot of fun and we had a great time. But we can’t go to Vegas without getting pictures! So here ya go!
