Evenflo Generations 65 Booster Seat Review

Car seats are something I take seriously. Knowing that my child’s life could be in the “hands” of a certain manufacturer scares me. I have to be able to trust in that manufacturer more than anything. With my 6th child on the way, you can be sure I have had a variety of car seats. I have been completely shocked at some that have literally fallen apart and amazed at others that have stood up to a lot.
Evenflo is one of those companies that have really left a lasting impression on me. They offer a variety of seats for whatever your needs or your price range. Evenflo is also affordable compared to other seats. The Evenflo Generations 65 Booster Seat is a great seat for those that want to keep their child in a 5-point harness longer. It’s 5-point harness can be used with children from 20-65 lbs. The vehicle seat belt can then be used up to 100 lbs after your child is done with the 5-point harness. The ComfortTouch head and body pillow give your child comfort when riding in the car. The PositionRight adjusts to 5 different heights so as your child grows, so does the carseat! TensionRight easy adjust harness tightening system and Central Front Harness Release makes adjusting harness easy! All Evenflo Car Seats are Side Impact Tested. This seat offers so much more that you will have to go take a look!

I bought Isabelle the Evenflo Triumph when she was moved out of her infant seat. It lasted until she was ready to move into a booster. So we thought we’d see how well she would do with a low back booster. She hated it. Of course, it wasn’t an Evenflo. It was uncomfortable with no cushion other than a thin padding over the hard seat. When the Evenflo Generations 65 Booster Seat arrived, I put it in the car. Immediately, I could see the smile in her face. She was comfortable. It wasn’t hard like the small booster seat. I thought for sure she’d hate the 5-Point Harness since she’s been going without for a few months. I also thought since her friends were all out of the 5-Point Harness, she would complain. She didn’t. She was very happy. She immediately said how soft it was. She was able to put her arms on the arm rests and chill.
In addition to her loving her new seat, mama was happy. I had it adjusted in a matter of minutes to suit her. It wasn’t a pain at all. It was even easier to install into the car and have a great fit. I can also feel better knowing that she is completely safe again in a 5-Point Harness. I know that if my car gets hit on the side, she will be much safer since it is side impact tested. Since we travel quite a bit, I will also know that she is much more comfortable in her seat. She can sleep comfortably or just relax.
The seat is not as wide as the Triumph but it is wide and bulky. If you have a narrow car, this might be a problem for you. I would recommend going to a specialty store that will allow you to try it in your car first. I would also love to see some more colors in this seat! It is made for older children and they love to show their personality.
