22 Weeks and he’s causing trouble!

Last week Mr Myles had decided to stop moving. So I called my OB and they got me in immediately. They did an ultrasound and he is BEAUTIFUL! His heartbeat was just going strong. He barely moved cause I guess he’s just pretty comfortable in there! My OB of course had to confirm once more that he is indeed 100% boy! He was! He wasn’t shy this time either!

Then Saturday I ended going into the local clinic. I knew I had a UTI. My blood pressure was high. It had been high before the ultrasound but we figured my body was reacting to him not moving even though I didn’t feel anxious. It was still considered normal for most but it had a 20 pt jump for both top and bottom numbers. I got my antibiotics and was told to come back if I feel funny.

I have NEVER had Pre-Eclampsia so I had no idea what symptoms to even watch for! So I came home and looked them up myself since the doctor wasn’t going to help. After looking, I didn’t have any of the symptoms! If anything I just felt light headed. So I ordered a digital blood pressure cuff to keep a close eye on my blood pressure.

Then Sunday we went to the ER since I had been having cervical pressure all day even laying down. I am used to some right now because my cervix isn’t THE best even though it seems to be strong! Myles heartbeat is STRONG. The doctor thinks it is most likely a yeast infection from the antibiotics but took cultures to rule out bacterial too. I got the pill and was sent home. My cervix is closed and that helps knowing that it is still going strong!

I have a feeling this little guy is going to make us wait for his arrival. Even though he caused trouble this week, my pregnancy is going a lot smoother than my previous two. I am so grateful! I am able to do things and only need to rest if the pressure is too much. I just absolutely feel completely blessed that my last pregnancy will go so smoothly! Now to make it to 38 weeks with Myles! My goal is April 6 since that’s Great Grandma’s birthday! Plus boys have a harder time when they don’t bake as long. So I am great with waiting til April 6 to meet this little guy!
