Yes that is MY child on the milk carton. Here is what happened? My oldest generally walks home. We live 4 blocks from the school so she’s home in 15 minutes. She walks with the neighbor kids so it’s great. Today I started to wonder when she was 20 minutes late. Then as each minute passed, I got more worried. After 10 minutes I tried calling her teacher. No answer. So I ran next door and grabbed my other girls. We drove down to the school and started searching with the secretary. She called her teachers and they all said she had left on time. That’s when it hit me. She has Bible Club on Wednesdays! I totally spaced it off because she only went once and then got sick. So she was safe and sound at the church! After crying, I came home and tried to laugh it off. Now I’m in need of a HUGE schedule so I don’t have brain farts!
That and a strong drink!

So busy that she doesn’t even have the time to sit on the couch and eat her bon bons today. YEP. She had to eat them in bed.
And I would have been worried too…especially with all the craziness going on in the world right now. (Oh, Linda would have said that part.)
