As the weather begins to cool, many of us are off to the stores to find ways to stay warm. A lot of us have that luxury. But while we are sitting here, there are people on our streets, in our parks and under our noses freezing. They don’t have the luxury to go buy a new jacket. Instead they are using whatever needs are necessary to stay warm and keep alive.

This year, Lands’ End is offering a way for us to help! For every Lands’ End FeelGood sweater purchased, the company will donate signature FeelGood yarn to One Heart Foundation’s Warming Families, a nationwide knitting charity.  Lands’ End expects to donate thousands of pounds of yarn to the charity where volunteers plan to knit up to 25,000 hats and other items to warm the homeless and displaced.

In addition to the Feel Good Campaign, Lands’ End is hosting a Twitter Party! Join Lands’ End and Vickie Howell, host of TV’s Knitty Gritty, for a Twitter Party to celebrate the kick-off the FeelGood Campaign! The party will feature more than 20 fun giveaways ranging from the FeelGood sweater and Vickie Howell’s books to Lands’ End gift cards and FeelGood yarn.
