Miss Isabelle is a video game junkie. Being an internet junkie, I want her to have some real activity and limit her video games to educational games. From what I have found is that a lot of educational games are too easy, too hard or not very appealing. I had to find something that didn’t bore her to death and made us both happy. I also wanted something that continued to encourage her to learn. I didn’t want to spend money on a game to have her beat it in 5 minutes. What’s the fun in that?

When it comes to educational computer games, Knowledge Adventure and Jumpstart are the first names that come to mind. They have created the finest educational products to use in the home and classroom. They have recently launched their first browser-based virtual world at Jumpstart. This virtual world is focused for kids 3-10 years old. Kids create avatars called Jumpeez for themselves to explore the virtual worlds. This will be a perfect game to help them increase their knowledge while making it fun.
