Puppy Chow-Chex Mix Marathon

As you might have seen, I recently gave 3 winners 2 boxes of Chex Mix bars. During that time, I gave additional entries for their favorite recipes! Over the next few days, I will be sharing these recipes with the proper acknowledgement and a link!

This recipe is thanks to Linda over at Trendy Tykes!

my favorite chex mix recipe is PUPPY CHOW (YUM)
Ingredients:

1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1/4 cup Butter
1 cup Chocolate Chips
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
9 cups Crispix cereal (any flavor)
1-1/2 cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions:

1. Combine peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.

2. Microwave for one minute then stir to blend all ingredients thoroughly. Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Stir well.

3. Place the 9 cups of Crispix cereal in a very large bowl.

4. Pour the peanut butter-chocolate mixture over the cereal and toss evenly, making sure all the cereal gets a good covering.

5. Coat with powdered sugar, sprinkling evenly over the cereal and tossing as you sprinkle to cover each piece well.

  1. yummmy.. this is my fav too!

  2. I just bought those Chex Bars and am a huge fan of Puppy Chow!

  3. I loved every single bite of my chex mix bars too!

Haven’t had puppychow in awhile, I may have to make this soon.

  4. I looked over many Chex Puppy Chow recipes and came up with one of my own. I started with the basic recipe but instead of using semi-dark chocolate I used the “white” chocolate chips and as a kicker I tossed in 2 cups of Reese Pieces. It came out very well
