Trisha Haas… The Mom behind MomDot
Just a few months ago, I took the plunge into Review blogging. It looked like something I could really enjoy doing. The problem was, my confidence. How could my little blog start to soar. I didn’t want to be a huge community or a big time blogger. I just wanted to do my own thing. I wanted to succeed along side other bloggers. The Momdot community was a fantastic support in the beginning and continues to be so today. I started attending Friday Night Live chats to learn more and more. Trisha was the one that helped me gain my confidence!
So who is Trisha? Trisha is a Britney Spears loving Diva. She is probably the funniest women I know. She is the most giving woman I know. She has the ability to charge bloggers for her expertise and they would pay! Why doesn’t she? Because she wants to help all of us grow! She is not only the blogger I look up to but the mom and wife as well! How often do you see other women putting everything down to tuck their kids into bed EVERY night when their husbands can do it sometimes. How many women encourage their children to learn to earn money on their own? Not only has she instilled the value of money into Charlotte but she has given her the tools to make her own money. In the meantime, a lot of other parents are out there giving into their children’s every desire no matter the cost.
Did you know that Trisha is the woman behind Bloggers Give? Where is all the talk about that! Bloggers Give is a fundraiser that allows bloggers to give back to charity. Bloggers Give donated nearly $13,000 to Center for Courageous Kids! How? Through their work with PR! PR and bloggers working together did this! All thanks to Trisha’s great idea! So where is all the media attention on that?
THANK YOU TRISHA! Thank you for being the selfless person that you are!

I agree 100%! The blogosphere needs more women like Trisha. She’s helped countless women grow their blogs and ask for nothing in return. That’s a real mommy blogger!
I knew Trisha briefly before she started Momdot. I was there to hear the motives behind it and I remember when I was designing blog buttons for some new bloggers for free, how she took the time to thank me for helping OTHER people.
That’s what it has always been about – helping people.
Trisha has a heart of gold, and while some are put off by her boldness, that is no reason to deny her compassion and selflessness.
Bravo! I wouldn’t know half of what I know about blogging if it wasn’t for Trisha. She is a totally goofy sweetheart.
Very well written. It’s a shame more people don’t know about the GOOD things Trisha heads up.
It really hurts me to see such a good person slammed. Trisha is an amazing person who deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.
Trisha has always been a role model and an awesome teacher for me! I’ve enjoyed learning from her and thanks to Trisha and MomDot, I received a scholarship to use towards going to BlogHer
Way to focus on the positive. It’s all very, very true!!
I think we all need to let Trisha’s actions speak for themselves and let others know about them!
I couldn’t agree more! I love all that Trisha has done for everyone, she really is a dynamic person that more people should take the time to get to know!
