Behind The Badge…The Threats
Stoney works rotating shifts. He works one month of graveyard and one month of days. It’s actually not too bad. When he works graveyards, he gets home at 3-4 in the morning. He also drives by regularly which makes me feel a lot safer. I know he is only a phone call away! It’s getting a lot easier. Now I am trying to handle the threats that he has received. At night I have a hard time because I doubt anyone would make a move during the day. They wouldn’t normally bother me but this one particular threat got to me. Perhaps because he said that he was going to shoot him at home. Ok seriously! My kids are here! This is MY home! Because you decided to do something BEYOND idiotic and not accept responsibility for your actions, you are going to threaten MY life. I don’t think so! You are messing with the wrong officer, mister! There are times I would love nothing more than to beam my husband over the head, but what wife doesn’t? Still doesn’t make it right for someone else to get to threaten him. So if you come around with guns blazing, just be prepared! This mama SHOOTS BACK!

A-freakin’-men!! My husband is a police officer and works nites. I used to have a hard time at nite, but it’s gotten easier…. especially since I got my gun. lol My motto: “9mm then 911″
LOL My DH won’t let me have a 9mm. He says the damage isn’t that great.
I have a .38 Special, but that doesn’t sound as cool. “.38 then 911″ LOL
LOL that is true! I am pretty sure the gun I was looking at is a .38. I would LOVE a PINK taser.
.38s are nice. Not a ton of kick, so easy to handle, easy to load, etc…
I saw a taser with Hello Kitty on it. They should issue those to the officers. People wouldn’t know what hit ‘em!
Oh that would be so funny. I could see my DH carrying a hello kitty taser! That’s why I was looking at the .38. It even had a laser on it. LOL
